The name “Bunkuany” is related to the stones used to build its terraces and some rock carvings that have been found. These carvings seem to tell a story to those who visit this place, as if they were speaking to us. Bunkuany, the “place of the talking stones.”

While the archaeological complex of Bunkuany may be less extensive than that of Ciudad Perdida, it features large terraces, and like Ciudad Perdida or Teyuna, the “second Lost City,” it has several nearby streams and rivers, allowing you to enjoy a refreshing swim during the Bunkuany tour.
