The Gotsezhy Wiwa Community, which means “Renacer” in Spanish, is an indigenous Wiwa refuge nestled in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. This excursion includes a trek to the refuge, where you can enjoy the best-preserved landscapes, explore rivers, and completely disconnect from the outside world. You will gain a deeper understanding of their worldview, beliefs, and the importance of ethnic and cultural diversity through various activities. The indigenous refuge also provides easy access to the majestic natural pool of the Matuna waterfall (El Encanto), where you can take a refreshing swim with just a 15-minute walk.
