During your tour of Don Diego & Ecotubing in the Sierra Nevada, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and history of the indigenous communities Arhuaco, Kogui<\/a>, Tayrona, Wiwa, and Kankuamo, who have inhabited these lands for centuries and play a crucial role in the preservation of this unique ecosystem. You will also explore the rich flora and fauna found in this place, with the possibility of spotting endemic species and enjoying the lush rainforest.<\/p>\n

Our highly trained local guides will be at your disposal to provide you with an enriching and safe experience. From exciting hikes on natural trails to engaging with the traditions of indigenous communities, we are confident that your visit to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta will be unforgettable. Don Diego & Ecotubing is a tourist and ecological attraction dedicated to Tayrona culture. It’s a unique place to appreciate pottery, goldsmithing, and tools made and used by the inhabitants of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Located just 56.6 km from Santa Marta, via Santa Marta – Venezuela.<\/p>\n

Day Trip<\/h3>\n

8 a.m. We start our experience to Don Diego & Ecotubing from your hotel in Santa Marta, Rodadero, or Taganga.<\/p>\n

9:30 hours: Arrival at Don Diego River, where we will explain the activity we will be doing on the river.<\/p>\n

Afterward, we will descend the river’s course in inflatable tubes, where we can enjoy its rapids and the surrounding wildlife and flora. We will encounter different types of birds and monkeys in their natural habitat and reach the river’s mouth at the Caribbean Sea, where we can swim in the sea and the river. 2 p.m.: Return to Don Diego by boat for lunch and then depart to your hotel.<\/p>\n

5:30 p.m.: We will be back at your hotel, concluding the Don Diego & Ecotubing experience.<\/p>\n
